Instead, that symbol means that when the card is played, your opponent gains that amount of quanta matching his or her Mark. I am using this symbol because there isn't enough space to put all this text in the card description. This card is a part of my Void series. Using Void cards give your opponent quanta, while Void Pillars take those quanta away. Both the Pillars and other Void cards can be put into normal decks, or they can be used together in a Mono-Void deck. The statuses Clear and Void correspond to Void Distillate and Void Essence respectively. This shield does not block damage. Such are the unorthodox ways of Void. This thing is powerful enough that after only a few turns, the owner would lose all their quanta. This makes Diss Field decks' blood run cold. Cost increase using OT's formula?

I see this as a powerful but not OP shield. Similar to Thorn shield.

Thorn Carapace gets rid of creatures, not all your quanta. You don't have to have creatures to win a duel (all sorts of different victory conditions), but you DO have to have quanta, unless you're using a Void deck.

unupped TC kills creatures
unupped VP destroys quanta and costs ~2 quanta less

upgraded TC kills creatures and blocks damage
upgraded VG destroys creatures and quanta

I am not sure exactly what the balanced cost should be but it is safe to say it is within +/-2 quanta.

Well, adrenaline is just a miniature version of the Life Mark, and immaterial is just a miniature version of the Time Mark (Ironic since time itself has no mono immaterial cards). I'd say a miniature Void mark would suffice.

I'll give this an upkeep of 3 Void quanta per turn. Is that more reasonable?

Clear looks like a light gray Void icon, while Void looks like a dark gray Void icon.

I removed the upkeep because I didn't like it. Any other ways to nerf this card, or is it balanced already?

I actually think the upped upkeep should be lower to , because it's not really that big of a deal.  Thorn Carparace still outshines it regardless, so I'd say it might not even need an upkeep, but keep it for now just to be safe.

Unupped should not have upkeep at all. It isn't powerful enough to require an upkeep.

Weird. 33% doesn't seem like much but once it starts stacking, I guess that it's all going to add up pretty fast.
