Do the cards played still cost the same as they would? Your notes indicate that playing Fractal will not drain , so I take it that they would not. But I think that this card should not effect the costs of the cards, but rather what they turn out to be. After all, the only way to play a card is to pay for it, and this card says nothing about reducing the cost to play cards. The way that I think it should work is that if I play a Voodoo Doll for 2 , I still pay the 2 , but my doll turns into a Life Dragon on enter.

Problem solved.

The card does not affect the costs of playing cards, only what cards play.
The reason fractal doesn't drain all your aether quanta is because that's not a cost of the card but an ability on the card.
The ability still costs the same. That is exactly how it works, Joseph.

Pretty cool card. I think Emerald Dragons may be a bit much though, as if you set up your deck right you can always ensure you can spam more Emerald Dragons than your enemy.

Why Fractal?  Just do 4 Photon, 4 Spark, 4 Gemfinder, 4 Damselfy, 6 Flourish, 4/4 Upped life pend/pill, Life Mark... right?

It probably does need to be a bit higher.
The problem I have in that is that it needs to be high enough to prevent all the quasi-abuse combos, but low enough so turning creatures into dragons is viable.
