I was thinking, and please bear in mind that this is only an idea, and is not thought through much, so it's not really complete.

How about a card, permanent (poss. weapon) that can be charged, for say 3 quanta, to do extra damage. However, as this card is charged, it also becomes unstable. Every time it is charged, it gains 10% chance to destroy itself. So, you have to decide 'Do I want extra damage, or a card that is more likely to stay usable? I'm not too sure where this would fit, possibly in entropy.

Yeah this would seem like an entropy weapon.

Great idea! :]

Edit: Or permanent :P

Very nice idea here, I actually had something like this in my ideas thread.  A low hp creature that enters the game poisoned...but your idea of chance to self-destruct is very interesting too, maybe I should make its destruction more random in keeping with the idea of entropy being chaotic.

Anoymouse, I just posted on you thread and was thinking this to be similar until i heard the weapon part. Maybe 7% would be better, 10% seems high, or upgrading it could lower the percent. Nice idea too, discord does nothing against rainbow decks and can really not be fun if it's stolen. Also, maybe if it deals five damage to you when it goes ka-boom, which raises my suggestion of a card that transfers cards, you could destabilize thi weapon as much sa you think is safe, and then use a card that transfers it to your opponent (if they havve anything in the slot you're transfering to you get it) and then the have something just waiting to exploded.

hm. i think it would be pretty hard to program. i had friends who make games on newgrounds who complain about how they cant program any of their great ideas for games. idk if this is even possible (im not a programmer)

Nah, shouldn’t be too hard.  Assuming a self-destruct  chance of 10% for each charge:

When this card is clicked, damage = (damage + a number)  and the destroyBoundary = destroyBoundary + 1
At the end of your turn, generate a random number between 1 and 10. Call this number destroyChance, or something. Call it Frank if you really have to. If destroyChance  is greater than destroyBoundary, deal damage and end turn. If not, destroy the card, like deflagration.

I had an idea for a darkness card like this too. Has the ability ‘Beat’ , or something like that. Every time it is beaten, it deals more damage, but also increases its chance of defecting to your opponent and resetting damage and chance of defection.
