A light chaser will perform a follow attack, dealing 1 extra physical damage to opponent. And the light chaser itself deals 1 normal damage. A total of 2 damage is added to the field. Case 2 : Two Psion attack the opponent with spell. A light chaser adds 1 physical damage to each Psion attack. Plus the normal attack of the chaser, a total of 3 damage is added. Therefore, the power of the light chaser increases with the number of spell damage source you have on field / in hand. Case 3 : Use Rain of Fire. Light chaser attacks every single target creature. All opponent creatures receives one extra damage. Case 4 : Use unupped Pandemonium. Light chaser is killed when the spell takes effect. No follow attack will be performed. Light chaser only activates its ability after the spell effect ends. Case 5 : Opponent uses lightning to attack you or your creature. Light chaser still follows and attack yourself or your creatures. If you have a immortal light chaser (possibly with some attack buff), this little creature will make you sick when opponent uses mass CC against you. Also note that : 1. Light chaser cannot attack itself. 2. If light chaser is affected by SoW, it will NOT chase its own spell. But its attack following the other spells will become spell damage. SERIES:

Sounds like this could seriously backfire.  I wouldn't mind a drop to 2 | 1 in casting cost.

The problem with the cost decrease is that I'm afraid of the horrible potential it can have with RoF.

Play 3 of this --> RoF --> 6 damage to all opponent creatures --> Win

With the current cost, it's unlikely for people to abuse the synergy. (3 light chasers are more expensive than one single RoF)

But they are all in element. Fractal takes away all the quanta you need for an army. BTW, the chasers are weak enough to be killed by almost everything.

And the combination of physical / spell damage may not end well.

Mirror shield --> nullify psions, and chasers will follow the reflected damage 

Fire shield / DR shield --> nullify chasers

But they are all in element. Fractal takes away all the quanta you need for an army. BTW, the chasers are weak enough to be killed by almost everything.

RoL/Hope only needs  for lobotomizer, which is much cheaper to use.

And don't forget that if you have tons of chasers, your opponent can simply cast a lightning on you.

Just a random thought : don't wear any CC shield on yourself when using chasers
