I was thinking to add more cards the The elements, we could have creatures that add new mechanics to the game like:

:darkness Target creature can not attack next turn.

2 :light Target creature can not use its ability next turn.

2 :entropy Gain control of target creature for 1 turn.

2 :earth Target creature burrows next turn.

:fire Destroy target immaterial permanent.

While your ideas sound decent, the last one, "3  :fire Destroy target immaterial permanent" doesn't sound right. Personally, there has to be a VERY special type of creature that can actively kill something that's not even -tangible- (whether it'd be a creature or a permanent/weapon/shield/whatever).

These are just ideas. That destroy immaterial would most likely be an "other" creature or spell card with a high cost of like 6 to 9.

Erm, the entropy one is totally better than the light or the dark one. It's actually even better then BOTH of them, as you also have it attack for you...
