I like the idea but I have 3 suggestions:

1. Check your spelling ;) (turtle turn into coal)
2. This is very similar as to how a phoenix works, I disagree with that.
3. A Fire Shield, Thorn Carapace or new skull buckler would wipe out everything on both sides after a while? I agree the hp is high enough to take a while btu even then.

Only thing I really don't like is how similar to the phoenix this is... I love it's passive ability though.

1. Check! Thanks for the heads up haha
2. Well, Skelly attained the rewind/hatch buff and thought, why let Phoenix have Cremation all to itself? XP
3. I see the Turtles as a Permafrost counter, esp. the upped version go against each other since FT can't hit pass Perma and can defrost its allies.

Fair enough, that makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.

I like how this is one of the few creatures that actually get's weaker when it's upgraded  :D (and yes, I understand this is because of it's ability)

When you say unable to attack, do you mean delay?

Otherwise, I like the different spin on the Phoenix concept.

Yeah, it's a delay. I'm thinking of removing the Coal function though and just raising the damage given by 1 for the upped...

I would do that.
That which can be destroyed by the truth should be. Speak the truth even when your voice falters.

CURATOR COMMENT
-Please provide a link to the page where you used the art source.
-Remove the hyphen (or the '-' symbol) from the Coal card's TEXT section of the table so that it matches the image's description (there's no hyphen in the image ;))

I have a feeling a few :life supporters wouldn't like the idea of killing a precious turtle (of all things!  :'() in order to defrost their creatures. Being able to remove the freeze effect upon death feels like a very bizarre reward for sacrificing it, but since it can be reborn again, I suppose the concept could work in some very unusual deck situations.
