You know wometimes it just helps if I read the card right.. :)) :)) It says "last spell cast" right on the card so the whole miracle debate is almost pointless as almost anyone with a little skill and brainpower will save a spell to cast after it(assuming they can) just to keep you from copying the miracle..Funny really that make me like this card all the more.
hmm good point 4got about that

Yes you are right: Play a Miracle and then play Holy Flash or some other benign spell that they can't use. Even better if you are :light and have reflective shield play a poison spell afterwards then they can't use it...lol...

So yes only copies the last spell played.

Thanks

Well that is the whole idea isn't it. A card that has obvious ploys isn't as much fun as one you can work with.

Thanks

Neat ability, and it seems well balanced.

What is a Tuatara like in real life? From the card it looks similar to an iguana, but I confess I haven't heard of them before.

A Tuatara is a small reptile native to New Zealand. It is the last link with the dinosaurs left in the world as fossil evidence has shown it to have been around for over 2 million years. It eats insects as a whole.

Yes maybe OP when you play it with Fractal but still as said anything borders on OP when you use Fractal.

Like the idea a lot as is though I am sure people will complain that it is "any spell you want on a stick..."

As for Tuataras, they come from a genetic branch that basically terminated except for in New Zealand. They actually have 3 eyes (which is really freaking weird) but the third eye is subdermal and kind of useless. One theory is that the third eye just sees light or dark or that it used to be useful but over time became irrelevant and so evolution is slowly getting rid of it...

Well actually the third eye is for copying spells cast by your opponent....

Yes very much so a throw back to older times but I figured hey he should be in there (maybe a Komodo Dragon will be next..)

what would happen if it was a fire bolt that was used (and im talking the upped version, taniwha). by playing  :aether does it use fire bolt and only hit your opponent for 3, or does it do the same damage back, or does it take the effect and apply it for  :aether

Ok so an example:

Fire Bolt is played and you have a Taniwha in play.

Wove becomes Fire Bolt. Cost is 3 :aether and the effect of Fire Bolt is Deals 3 damage for each 10 :fire in your possesion.

I was wondering about the effect being :aether as well but I believe only the cost of the card should be unless you consider it broken in which case it would read as follows:

Wove becomes Fire Bolt. Cost is 3 :aether and the effect of Fire Bolt is Deals 3 damage for each 10 :aether in your possesion.

Thanks

well because in some decks you might not have any fire at all, so then it would be almost useless to use that effect, however if you have a mono aether deck and you have 100 :aether you'd wreck them, so i think since unupped doesnt convert it into  :aether it should use  :fire and the upped version would use  :aether but then there might be an OP problem, possibly increase the card cost?
