Id actually keep the attack the same but buff the health for the upped. that way you can send it to your opponent, but then block its attack against you with a simple gravity shield.

but the 3 damage isn't really the problem- it's the poison, i was thinking of making it so that it would only 'invade' if it successfully attacks- and then use your idea of boosting the hp of the upped.

What if you lower invade to  :death but make it require dealing damage w/ attack that round. This would enable darkrobe's idea.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`

lols that's what i meant by my last post- well except the lowering cost to  :death - I still think that it could be too easily abused if it was so cheap.

You might want to seperate out the skills here.

just as an example:
Each time it fails to attack, you are delt its attack in poison.
 :death : Invade
Give opponent Trojan Horse

That might be too far from what you are thinking but its a thought.

I like that idea- i'll try and find a way of incorporating it- but if i do exactly that i'm afraid the costs may outweigh the benfits and it would become too much of a niche card

Lol i know, thats why i said for example.

Just so you know though, in my head im thinking Trojan horse + gravity shield/bonewall + deathstalkers + momentum =  :gravity :death poison rush

Okay, now this is interesting.  When it deals damage, the owner gets poisoned?

CURATOR COMMENT
-Fix the COST sections of your table (The unupped table should state '4 :gravity' instead of just '4', and likewise, the upgraded version needs to match the card's cost, and not have the word 'Gravity' just there)

On that note, WELCOME to the CIA (or Card Ideas & Art ;) ) board tsing520! :D

I sort of like the risk vs. reward in this idea, although the expensive cost of its ability (3 :death) is a bit much, but hopefully will promote more Gravity-Death duos considering their unique strategies (Momentum-Stalkers and Otyugh = endless death triggers).

Actually, this is kind of OP.

Before HP buffs:
[1x Card] Trojan Horse [5 :gravity + 3 :death ] for 6 poison

[3x Cards] 3x Poison [6 :death] for same effect.

[2x Cards] Forest Scorpion [3 :life ] + Adrenaline [6 :life ] for same counters.

Other effects take at least three turns.
To expand on this

Forest Scorpion:
1|2 (attack) +0 (2hp) +3 (venom x1) +0|-1 (-1 or -2 upgraded) = 3 :life+1card

Trojan Horse (suboptimal usage)
-2|-3 (attack) +0|1 (3|6hp) + 12|18 (venom x4|x6) +0|-2 (-1 to -2 upgraded) -1 (duo) -1 (high activation cost) = 12-4|18-7 = 8|11 = 7 :gravity|10 :gravity + 1card

Trojan Horse (regular usage 1 Blessing | 1 Chaos Power)
-5|-8 (attack) +1|2 (6|9hp) + 30|36 (venom x10|x12) +0|-2 (-1 to -2 upgraded) -2 (trio) -1 (high activation cost) -3|-3 (cost of additional card and upgrade) = 30-10|36-14 = 20|22 = 19 :gravity|21 :gravity + 1card

Summary: The card's cost needs to be absurdly high if you want to keep the Venom at Attack x2.

If the effect only did 1 poison per damage dealt

Trojan Horse (regular usage 1 Blessing | 1 Chaos Power)
-5|-8 (attack) +1|2 (6|9hp) + 15|18 (venom x10|x12) +0|-2 (-1 to -2 upgraded) -2 (trio) -1 (high activation cost) -3|-3 (cost of additional card and upgrade) = 15-10|18-14 = 5|4 = 4 :gravity|3 :gravity + 1card
