But you're giving your opponent an attacker that deals 3 damage per turn.

assuming you dont have a means of blocking the 3 damage, with the upgraded one's health a gravity shield will prevent the damage entirely in the relevant element (gravity).  so its a bit more complicated than assuming youre going to take half the damage yourself.  its an easy setup, too.  easier than using an anflatoxin/frost shield combo, for example.

i misunderstood the "if it hits" part then.  so the damage would be over and over stacking, so if i understand this correctly, this would be a five turn scenario:

net damage done to you | stacks of poison on them | net damage done to them
3 | 6 | 6
6 | 12 | 18
9 | 18 | 36
12 | 24 | 50
15 | 30 | 80

edit- or does the poison effect only occur once?

Yeah, with them always dealing damage first.

Gravity shield would entirely block the effect but it;s still way too op- i'm working on a way to nerf it. Currently i'm thinkking of making it attack+1 instead of attack x2 and lowering the cost to  :death or :death :death , but i'm not sure if this is too much of a nerf or too little yet, i'm quite new a this so running all the scenarios is taking me a lot of time.

i misunderstood the "if it hits" part then.  so the damage would be over and over stacking, so if i understand this correctly, this would be a five turn scenario:

net damage done to you | stacks of poison on them | net damage done to them
3 | 6 | 6
6 | 12 | 18
9 | 18 | 36
12 | 24 | 50
15 | 30 | 80
This is why it is OP. However this is the suboptimal usage the regular usage (with a Blessing|Chaos Power) would be
net damage done to you | stacks of poison on them | net damage done to them
6 | 12 | 12
12 | 24 | 36
18 | 36 | 72
24 | 48 | 120

Why not change it to Poison=damage dealt? ("Attack + 1" is unecessarily complex when "Attack" would be fine)
Poison=damage dealt with 1 Chaos Power
net damage done to you | stacks of poison on them | net damage done to them
6 | 6 | 6
12 | 12 | 18
18 | 18 | 36
24 | 24 | 50
30 | 30 | 80
36 | 36 | 116

Although Trojan Horse would work better as a weaker cheaper version that can be played earlier than that.

You might want to seperate out the skills here.

just as an example:
Each time it fails to attack, you are delt its attack in poison.
 :death : Invade
Give opponent Trojan Horse

That might be too far from what you are thinking but its a thought.
Um. Yours is undeniably OP. Far worse than the current Trojan Horse.

explain why, please. the more attack it has. the harder it is for you to prevent it attacking. and it can be countered with momentum and or destruction of your shield. I find it much more balance than this automatic addition of poison you all are currently discussing.

It is easy to stop it with
1 Gravity Shield
1 Basilisk Blood
1 Warden
Bone Wall
...

By changing it to when it is not blocked you removed the necessity of letting it hurt you. Thus making more similar with Chrysaoras than with Negative attack Scorpions.
