Another idea that was too obvious for me to post it here at first, then I realised that there seem to be no cards like this around. I set the cost so low because it's not an actual creature control card. It does nothing against dragons and the hardest hitters, only against some rather annoying creatures. SERIES: -

I think the only reason it hadn't been suggested before now is that there are already two cards that do this that require Aether, split between creature and weapon, along with the possible effect from Entropy.

Thanks, I was thinking it was there for inspiration and how it works, not for reasons for being so low in cost and similar explanations.
