NOTES:
An opposite to Empathic Bond, instead of healing you by living creatures, it kills your creature to negate damage.

This card is cheap and its effect is stackable, like Empathic bond, but use it at your own risk, you would probably kill all your creatures. You are advised to have a boneyard when using this card.

Potential abuse :
1. Fill your field with Cells and then use tons of Tragic Bonds, you are now invincible

2. Fill your field with Cells and have a vulture of more than one HP. Use Sorrow Bond, this will kill all of your Cells but you will have a super fat vulture. If you have a boneyard, sorrow bond kills all your skeleton next turn, and your vulture will get even fatter :)

No. This makes photons and rol/hope way more powerful if a single free creature could block 10 damage.

That's why I think a higher cost would be better. The current cost means nothing because I don't know how to make the right judgement in balancing, this card could kill ALL of your creatures....

Edit:
I just found that I made a mistake. This card is a shield and cannot be stacked. So only the first 10 damage will be blocked each turn and you lose a creature, possibly weaker than a bone wall

Nope. Sacrificing a photon for 10 less damage is not hard at all when combined with fractal/mitosis, or cells.

Nope. Sacrificing a photon for 10 less damage is not hard at all when combined with fractal/mitosis, or cells.
But the fact is the maximum damage that can be blocked is 10, equal to attack of about one dragon, and the rest will still be dealt to you. Compare it with Hope, which could block almost every damage (the notorious 23 damage reduction )

Compare with bonewall, theoretically you could block over a 100 damage without any bad consequences to yourself

And this card is very susceptible to CC and PC.

Example, you have a photon and a fat vulture on field during opponent's turn. Opponent kills your photon and when he attacks you, the Tragic Bond will automatically sacrifice your fat vulture. It's not easy to get a fat vulture

I really don't think Fractal anything is the best application of this. Hope gives you numerous advantages over this that waters has mostly covered. Even speaking of unupped fractalling to block maybe 80 damage. As the OP was saying Aflatoxin + Boneyard would probably be pretty powerful with this.

No. This makes photons and rol/hope way more powerful if a single free creature could block 10 damage.
You must note, RoL hope already has a insanely high shield. Incorporating another element for just 10 damage would be a hassle.
