Samuel and his father used their time relic and bring them back to the past,
not long ago, but extremely long ago in the past.

They came back to the same desert they came from,
leaving footprints on the ground, they know they can interact with the past.

They are here to find out the history, the mystery event that killed all but one dragon, the Dragon of Atlantis.

Dragons are considered extinct then, yet now they see them alive, where dragons roam the desert, among humans.

you will only draw as much as you can.
so maximum hand size = 8 cards.

Maybe then change description to something among the lines of "Draw up to 8 cards, kill equal amount of your creatures"?
Cause I'm not trading an entire swarm of 20+ creatures for drawing 8 cards.

I might be lazy to make changes but i have a thematic reason why Time Travel is kill all creatures,
because when you time travel to an extremely long ago time point, creatures from the previous time point shouldn't be alive.

And elements cards are more about fixing your strategy towards the cards
and not the cards helping your strategy which is the way many popular modern online card games are doing now.

True.

I guess it could work in something like big rush decks with various different sacrificable creatures, but I'd still prefer sacrificing them with immolations, it would at least get you some quanta.

im not professional elements player, but I initially thought of using these cards as sacrificing sheeps.
From an amateur point of view, they definitely seems worth it, since pharaoh can keep spamming more creatures,
and dejavu is an cheap but effective 2 in 1 card.

Pheonix works great as it can revives, note that its not time element though so it requires at least a duo deck.

I really dun want to go caculate whether they are actually worth it compared to hourglass,
tucks myself to bed before oldtrees comes in. ::)

I think I got what you mean, sacrificing all your creatures to draw cards ain't worth it.

Does this also have a synergy/counter to Aflatoxin?

I wanted Time Travel to have synergy with Alfatoxin,
but like DoctorC did mentioned previously, you can only have up to 8 hand cards,
so it still depends on your deck build whether its effective.

Its a great counter to Aflatoxin, that i didn't thought of.

Besides Aflatoxin combo, there are Bonewall, Boneyard+Eternity comboes, which can makes Time Travel effective.

Yeah. The only problem is - Pharaoh is gonna die too.

That being said, one can use it to get rid of singularities. I mean, one can use Immolations and whatnot to get rid of them, but Immos don't give quanta when used on Singularities.

You can cast Reverse Time on your Pharaoh through an Eternity or the spell with the same name and draw him directly with Time Travel | Time Trek. Moreover, as mentioned by you and others, it is good against antimatter/singularity/aflatoxin, it has great synergy with death effects and it has interesting synergy with Anubis' ability too (I suppose immortal creatures aren't destroyed via Time Travel | Time Trek).

For me, drop the cost to 2 :time | 1 :time and it is just a perfect 5/5 idea.

Using reverse time and Eternity to protect important cards is a good trick.

For anubis, unfortunately anubis dies to Time Travel as Time Travel destroys all creatures and its not a targeting spell,
as immortal creatures are just untargetable.
