This fits, and gets the point across without implying that it can't be targetted by spells or permanents. I.e. only non-flying creatures are prevented from targetting:

Bird Dragon: Non-airborne creatures may not target this creature. Gain +1/+2 for each 15 :life quanta in your pool.
