It seems that only Photoshoop has those layer folder things.

Arial... okay, I shall try.

Paint.net also doesn't seem to support textboxes that stick around.

Yeah, both Gimp and Paint.net suck bug time because neither of them support Photoshop grouping (folders).

That's why I started doing the browser version using Pixlr.

May be you doesn't see, but i made a gimp file (.xcf). See my post under, i put a download file. :)

EDIT
From your file "elements_card_templates_v2.2.1.psd'', I created a Gimp file ''.xcf "
File dowload --> http://flodes.free.fr/elements/elements_card_templates_v2.2.1.xcf (http://flodes.free.fr/elements/elements_card_templates_v2.2.1.xcf)

I created 7 text layers and deleted the 6 layer images corresponding.
Only 6 because I divided the layer ''Card Description'' in 2. One for card description and one for ability name.

Name of 7 texts layers:
- Card Name in Withe
- Card Name in Black
- Card Cost
- Card type creature
- Ability Name
- Card Description
- Art by: Artist Name

It would be nice if you could check my changes
Administrator Comment Small typo in link. Fixed.

That Gimp file is pretty good. All it needs is a couple of bug fixes and I'll add it to my original post.

Good job.

I Have successfully made a nice card image using GIMP.

-it features editing text boxes unlike Paint.net
-it is free and time-limitless unlike Photoshoop
-it features element icons unlike Pixlr thingy

The .psd attached in the OP is probably missing because of the recent forum troubles. Will hopefully be sorted soon enough.
The .xcf linked a few posts earlier should still be accessible, I think. Try that one.
