Hmm, is good. Possibly good enough to entice me to use it regularly.

I has been updated one more time!

This is probably the most important update of all. The template had some issues with line height that were corrected.

Adding icons to the text is more easy now. Just type the code of the element icon and it'll be automatically replaced by the icon itself. The codes:

Aether = :A
Air = :a
Darkness = :D
Death = :d
Earth = :E
Entropy = :e
Fire = :F
Gravity = :G
Life = :L
Light = :l
Time = :T
Water = :W

Also, if you type "~" in the text field, it'll be automatically replaced by the card's name.

If you already downloaded and installed the template, you don't have to download it again this time. Instead, follow these steps:

-- Download the small .zip file I attached to this post inside the "data" folder of your Magic Set Editor, that is probably "C:\Program Files\Magic Set Editor 2\data". It's important to put the file inside the data folder but OUTSIDE the "elements.mse-game" and "elements-[something].mse-[something]" folders.

-- Extract the file by right-clicking it and clicking "extract here" (or something). You'll see a message asking if you want to overwrite some files, click "yes to all". If this message doesn't appear it means you've done something wrong, make sure you're extracting the file in the right place (you have to click "extract here", NOT "extract to [some folder]").

-- Test the template to see if everything's working fine. If it is, delete the .zip file you downloaded.

IMPORTANT!
The icons in the text of all cards you saved will disappear after you update your template and you'll have to type them again. It's a good idea to save images of all your cards before, so you can remember the cost of all abilities (that is, if it's really possible to forget :P).

This is great. What we had was sufficient, yet you go above and beyond by repeatedly improving it a bit here and there.

I see a fair amount of people asserting that Planplan's editor renders slightly more correct-looking cards, but the ability to save and edit (as opposed to repeatedly re-make from scratch) is thousands of times more useful. You're a hero, sir.

I dont know why, but I couldn;t aplly your new update properly.
Anyways it screwed up my cards so I tried to reinstall everything.
Now the template installer refuses to work.

edit: found a solution by using the installer to first remove everything, then was able to succesfully install

Well, go to the "data" folder and delete all the folders with "elements" in its name, then try to reinstall it. If the installer doesn't work, open it with a program like WinRar or 7zip and extract it to the "data" folder.

Also try making a new set of cards, to see if the problem is happening only with the set you're currently editing.

If nothing works, I don't know what to do. You could ask for support on the MSE forums.

Left: Planplan's editor; Right: Magic Set Editor

Yep, the difference is almost unnoticeable. Well done, sir. I think I will start using this.

Edit: Actually, the elemental icon is a bit off. It should be to the right a bit more. Still, very good.

Can someone do a comparison to an in-game card rather than cards from Planplan's card-maker?
