I don't know if this is the correct place to post this but, anyway.
I found a very good card editor called "Magic Set Editor", then I spent a lot of time on making a template for Elements. It was pretty hard, since there's no tutorial for making templates yet, and I had to read almost all the code of the Yu-Gi-Oh! and Dvorak templates.
All you have to do is download and install Magic Set Editor:
http://magicseteditor.sourceforge.net/download.htmlI recommend you disable all templates in the proccess.
Then download my template (just double click it to install):
http://www.4shared.com/file/2bF8cOXV/elements.htmlAlso, you'll have to have Gill Sans MT and Dauphin fonts installed:
http://www.4shared.com/file/7wPuvzGk/Fonts_elements.html• Some instructions on using the editor:
– To add element icons in the text field, just type in the corresponding code:
Aether = :A
Air = :a
Darkness =
Death = :d
Earth = :E
Entropy = :e
Fire = :F
Gravity = :G
Life = :L
Light = :l
Time = :T
Water = :W
– And in the card type field:
Spell = !
Permanent = @
– Go to "Cards > Card list columns..." to show more info in the cards list, like the card element. There are some fields with a number next to it's name (artcredits2, cost2, etc), they show the exact same info as the original ones and are there only because they're part of the template's code styling, so just ignore them.
– Click on the right-bottom corner of the card to change from standard to upgraded card styles and vice-versa.
• The "Clean" style:
This is a style intended for creating pseudo element (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,28351.0.html) cards.
Zblader made this great tutorial (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,30120.0.html) on pseudo element cards with this style.
• Some Features:
– You can save and edit all your cards in one set file.
– You can export all cards of one set as images at once. Here I strongly recommend you change the file extension from .jpg to .png, where is written "{card.name}.jpg".
– You can add notes to the cards in the set.
– When you load an image for card art, you have some resizing options, so most times you don't need to previously crop the image with an image editor.
• Everything is better with a screenshot:
(obviously the second copy of each card is the upgraded version)
