Ok, it's a new kind of reborn creature. The Hydra.
The idea is to have a card that dies and produces two creatures of the same type.
To kill the creature the Hydra can add poison to himself.
Maybe it is overpowered in combination with Bonewall and/or boneyard.

The card should be water with death as an ability activator.

But then there are too much water creatures that use death quanta. Thy Chy somewhat uses death , too.

Water and death are designed to go hand in hand, look at puffer fishes and look at chrysora. The hydra itself should be life imo.

(Again, the upped version of a card should have black name text, I think the cost and name stay the same but not sure)
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

I completely disagree. Water is supposed to be liquid, cold, ice, purity, etc, not poison. The Chrysaora just happened to have a poisoning ability.
In my opinion, Water is not meant to only work together with poison. In all fantasy games, stories, comics, TV shows, etc, Elements is the only place where I've seen water associated this closely with poison.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Water isn't closely associated with any specific other element. There are four elements in total that are paired with water (excluding Life's Forest Spirit): Air, Earth, Death, and Aether. Water is a great element regardless of whether it is the primary element.

Hydra is a typical water critter, however, and infection is in all but one case death powered.

As far as balance goes, I'd say this is overpowered even without bone wall or yards. A critter that deja vu:s instead of dying? Really?

Waaaaaaay OP. Imagine - Start with one hydra. 6 damage. Use Heads. 12 damage. Use heads again. 18 damage. Hydra dies, creates 2 Hydras. Use heads twice. 30 damage. DON'T use heads. 42 damage. Both Hydras die, make 4 hydras. Use heads 3 times. 66 damage. 4 Hydras die, make 8. Don't use heads. 114 damage.

That's only with ONE Hydra to start. It's a one-creature kill.

Like the idea, though

I'd do Otyughs with this thing. Death/Gravity, growing Otyughs, growing number of Hydras that can infect the enemies as they can be killed not by themselves.

OP?

Some balance changes will be neede.

I will lower the Attack to 2 and three.
I'll make it only duplicate it if it kills himself. Will make heads only effect one monster and will make the abiility cost higher.

And I will make the upgraded card name black.

I also consider puffer fishes to be poison-like.

This is absurdly OP.  To wit:

Entropy/Death "Hydratic Equation" Beatstick
Mark of Entropy
8x Bone Tower
4x Amethyst Tower
6x Maxwell's Demon (elite)
6x Hydra (elite)
3x Bone Wall (elite)
2x Condor

Get out a Maxwell's or two.  Use them to keep major enemy threats at bay until you get a Hydra or two out.  Then, every turn, you mass-produce Hydras with your Maxwell's, using them to generate Bone Wall tokens and huge Condors along the way.  Not even Rain of Fire can stop you, because it just doubles your number of Hydras, and the Maxwell's can survive an RoF no problem.   It'll walk over Diamond Shield, walk under Gravity Shield, and is basically limited by the number of creature slots available to you.

I'm sorry, but the idea of ANY creature that splits instead of dying is OP -- and giving it a 6 attack is just absurd.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.
