Please clarify the upped card:

Damage to opponent--is that subject to blocking/reflecting by shield?

Does Ash turn into Ash too?

and Ash will not turn into Ash, it dies

I think volcano should do damage to flying things too

Since this card deals 1 damage to all fire creatures it kills every phoenix every turn. Thus phoenixes essentially lose their 1 free death and gain  1:fire upkeep each.

Maybe exempt phoenixes from the damage?

Also Upgraded fire creatures should be turned into unupped phoenixes.

As it stands: Fire Dragon/Ruby Dragon -> Phoenix/Minor Phoenix
12|3 -> 7|1
15|3 -> 4|1

Instead why not:Fire Dragon/Ruby Dragon -> Minor Phoenix/Phoenix

Then you would have
2|1 -> 7|1
2|1 +1 -> 4|1
that is still a backward setup.

2|1 -> 4|1
2|1 +1 -> 7|1
is a better setup.

Turning into a phoenix is a better ability than turning into a minor phoenix

Change it so the Firebirds (Phoenix and Minor Phoenix) are unaffected by Fire Temple/Volcano Temple
Also change it so:
Unupgraded Fire creatures turn into Minor Phoenixes
Upgraded Fire creatures turn into Phoenixes

Why does a temple damage creatures surely a temple would do that.

  is a wild element. When unrestrained it can harm both friend and foe.
Some creatures should be immune to the effect (phoenixes and lava golem) but some (Ash Eater) do not seem to have a reason to be immune to fire.

Also fire bolts harm them already.
