Well, all I have to say is, it's a great idea and all that, but the fact is, once you have the basics down, you get stuck.
There's just no real way to decide what next.
It's much simpler and more fun to come up with your own specific ideas and post them yourself.
Rather than doing the Element/Type/Subtype thing, it would be better to start with:
What kind of card does Elements need right now?
And as people give ideas, we vote for what type of card is most needed in the game.
After that, we can deal with element, creature/permanent/spell, and other details.
To start with, I think that Elements needs some way to remove infection.
When you have infected creatures, they just end up dying and it's annoying how you can't do anything about it.
Also, more methods of permanent protection, and more mid-range hitters.
