What I mean is youre obviously using a line from portal, and Idk if zanz will let that fly for a card in his game with very basic card names

I believe Zanz will always look at the content of the card instead of the name when he is deciding  which card should be introduced to the game.

Besides, this card may even get shot down at the crucible level and no one will see this cake anymore

Which is true, but at the same time, you should also remember that cards with ridiculous titles/themes are more likely to be shot down considering how little time he spends scanning through card ideas.

More relevantly, the card looks pretty interesting (do change the title though, seriously), and could also be used to prevent deckout. Especially late-game, it could be very strong.

This. I am always struggling with this in speed decks and often having to reset powerful characters with eternity just to stay alive.

its considered proper to ask for permission if another card inspires a card idea.

on to the mechanic- i generally dislike mechanics that mess with the opponent's unplayed hand or deck.
