Simple fire concept: thaw target creature.  Guess who wins the poison/fire fight now, bitch...

LOL! Thaw has been suggested somewhere...I think, lol. I think it would be a good card, and it would balance out Speed Fire vs Speed Poison, lol, but Thaw, just like Purify, would be very situational. It's a counter to a single effect, and has no other effect outside of that.

Could make it broader, like a purify for creatures.  I'm thinking Trial by Fire (2 Fire, 1 Upped) - Lowers HP -3, removes all enchantments and effects from creature.  Or, -2 HP, removes all enchantments, effects AND abilities from creature.

the only card you want to lost the ability of is drags, or your opponents if it can be used on them

I think that Thaw would be more balanced as a creature ability, so that it's not entirely useless in your hand, but has the chance of being countered, and makes it a priority target vs. your other creatures.

This has been suggested before. By me; I actually just posted something new on that topic. It was generally agreed upon that a single spell card to thaw a creature was useless, but a creature ability sounds great. (Another suggestion i made on that forum that everyone ignored in favor of debating over the spell).

What about something broader that would affect the whole army?  And, sorry to duplicate the thread, here's the link:

Something that affect more creatures would be useful, but what if you only have one really strong creature out, you can't just stack on thaw spells. I think a creature or permanet would be the best way to go.

P.S. You are now one of my favorite elements people for putting a link to my forum up : )

lol, i noticed the creature idea, for some reason i was thinking of it as a red octopus with 4 arms and yellow dots... but that's just one crazed theory

It would have to be a creature immune to freezing, or the ability should be usable while frozen otherwize that would be the first creature frozen!

You could just use Anubis for that matter... Sure it won't unfreeze a creature, but once immortal it can't be frozen again.
