You could just use Anubis for that matter... Sure it won't unfreeze a creature, but once immortal it can't be frozen again.
And likewise, Anubis is usually a primary target of Congeal, too. o-o

Anubis is a primary target of ANY creature affecting ability- whatever you can throw at it :)

I'll have to disagree.  With a poison farming deck, I frequently allow the Anubis to remain and instead congeal the FFQs, Otyughs or Ulitharids.  The Anubis can prevent me from re-congealing, but usually the extra three or four turns of chrysaora stings is a game breaker.  I suppose the AI DOES seem to prioritize the Anubis over those other targets, but it seems to be primarily for the high-attack that Anubis has, not the ability.

Like anything it would be situational. If I have a congeal and the AI plays Anubis, I always cast it on him. If he just played Anubis the previous turn, already had a queen in play and I draw a congeal then yes I would probably hit the queen in that situation.

Maybe instead of just thawing creatures, the spell could do damage to all creatures on the field and thaw any frozen monsters, like this:

Heat Wave
3 Fire Quantum
All monsters take 1 damage and any frozen monsters are now unfrozen.

I like it, but think if we make it that we should make purify multi-purpose as well.

Yes, purify is useless in every situation other than to stall losing to a poison deck.

Playing poison I've only lost one game ever because of purify.

I actually faced someone on Kong who had four, yes, FOUR Purifies in his deck, AND he Miracled...and I still won. =/

Let's give it to the dragons!

Seriously, let's, it makes sense, however fire should get a card that unfreezes all creatures and deals damage to them as well. Yes, i mean a creature.

P.S. can you imagine someone useing that in a deck that freezes the opponents creatures, that would be so cool.

Forfeit, I love that idea.  Maybe steam would be a good name?

It would be, but would it have the ability steam as well, or be a x/0 creature, that does this cool thing on death?

I think a creature with low health would be best, they are easy to get rid of but it would make it so this card isn't underpowered, or overpowered.
