NOTES:
OK, guys. I know this is HIGHLY unlikely for Elements because they are too "modern" and do not fit the game theme. But, I kinda wanted to do it more as a joke. I think anybody who has dealt with tax can appreciate this card lol. I think the effects are pretty good, so if enough people want these cards, I can re-do the names and images to suit this game later.

Cool idea. This card can be made into a shard. The name could be Shard of Taxation. If you make it a shard make the unupped one the upped one and then reduce it's cost to 2 quanta.

It is a powerful card that can counter high cost ability creatures and growth creatures. But the main use of this card would be to counter weapons like Eternity.

Shard of Readiness could be used to counter this card for creatures, but can't still help against permanents being taxed.

Overall, good job.

My real-life sucks. So i come online to compensate that.

Nik_V's idea is a great one. Make a shard outta this concept. It's really good, and has good chances of being implemented IMO since it's an easy mechanic to code and allows new strategies to be created.

If I make this into a shard, what do I put under card idea and card design? I'm guessing I'll be just changing the colors of the existing shards, so I'm guessing I need to put whoever came up with the shard first?

Okay. I also want to make sure this is in line with the shard theme because all the existing shards' effects are + in nature. So, this would be the first - effect shard?

Shards are virtues only.
This card is interesting and seems balanced +/-4 :rainbow.

Just one problem: How would the game interface deal with an ability that costs, say 9  :time?

I'm not sure if I understand that question. Are you saying this game can't handle skills beyond 1 digit? (I'm not familiar with programming stuff).

So, looks like shards are not appropriate for this one because it's not virtue.

Should I start a new series like "Cursed Gem" series or something? (I can't believe I'm thinking about putting myself through for another series and work lol).

By the way, what's up with the lack of humorous response!? This was supposed to be a funny joke :) (it's in the note section). Nobody got my humor...?  Ugh,,,,, and I thought I'd be a comedian one day...  :P

i got it, but it was more of a meh humor then an "OMG THAT IS SO FUNNY I MUST BE ONE OF THE OVER 9000 COMMENTS MIMICKING THE JOKE" kind of humor to me, but it would be an interesting comcept in game

If you wanted to make this a believable card idea, you could change it to a shard (I know already suggested, but theres more) , and instead of taxation which still sounds too modern, you could change it to shard of burden.
