Hmm... so effectively you have 2

and 1 card plus 2 turn wait to drain 5 of opponents quanta...
Not sure how to hand the wait in terms of cost theory... maybe call it worth -1

?
the 1 card is typically worth about 2

...
Lets say 1

-> 1

(which is lowballing)...
So in the end you pay 3

to absorb 5

from you opponent... If I wasn't lowballing my

to
conversion I'ld say the unupgraded version is more or less balanced... but I am lowballing, so its probably a little UP...
Lets look at it in terms of blackhole then... Supposing a duo weilding opponent, which is where this card shines, BH drains 6

and gives 6 Healing for a cost of 4

and 1 card... SO...
BH costs 6

and it drains 6

from opponent and heals you for 6 HP.
Compare to this, effective 3

to drain 5

from opponent, but no healing.
This card can be combo'd with fractal and mito to achieve extra potency... while fractal could allow up to 8 extra copies, many forum goers have asserted that realistically you more like to see much less on average. Maybe like 5 or 6. Of course, you still have to actually pay the cost of casting them, on top of the cost of fractal.
BH, on the other hand, can scale situationally up to 6 fold efficiency compared with the duo example... and I think its an easier combo to pull off.
All in all, this just feels a little weak compared to BH.
Last, there is comparing to devourers and pests. The starting stats are the same, but since this is not a darkness or death card, it can't benefit from nightfall or eclipse like devourers (which has been factored into that creature's cost). So stat wise, this card is a little UP.
Next, devourer doesn't have to die to drain (and on the flip side it wont drain if killed). In the case quanta denial, I would say the two cards are roughly evenly matched. This card just represents a rapid burst variant whereas devourer is a continual stream. HOWEVER, devourer is giving you extra quanta at the same time...
So in comparison to devourers, once again, this card is UP.
I like the concept. It synnergies well with disco, holes, and devourers. It more or less fits in entropy... it just feels a little on the weak side to me.
In both cases, it seems relatively balanced in terms of quanta denial efficiency, but both holes and pests give that little bit extra to make themselves really useful. I have the feeling this card needs something to make it stand out a little more as well.
So right now, I don't think i'ld give it 4 or 5 stars... It just needs a little more oomph... if you can figure out how to give that, it will be worth its stars.
