Not feeling the theme man :/

Another drug-related card, and in life too?  This one feels more like a doctor is going to stick me with a needle.  When elsewhere on the Elements battlefield there are dragons and crusaders battling.

I like the mechanic though :) I think the price of the ability could be reduced by one.
Drug-related? IV needles inject nasty chemicals into people. This is not an IV needle and takes nasty chemicals out of things with nasty chemicals. I don't don't see the drug relation at all..Plus, what's wrong with throwing vials of poison at dragons and crusaders?

Yeah, I guess you're right. Squids are re-usable freezes, and they cost 3 and freeze for 3 and freeze for 3 turns...
Maybe I should also lower the playing cost..
...uhm a syringe is drug-related :D

How is it not drug-related?  Please justify.
Not all drugs are illegal drugs.
Aspirin is a drug used to relieve headaches.

I think Poison Vial should cost 1 :death|2 :death and cause 2 infection for the upped.

when I first saw this card I did wonder why it's  :life?

As to name, well, perhaps not that suitable for elements, although given some of the names I've come up with it would be hypocritical for me to complain! All it would need though is to be called something like 'venomous extraction' which is where you magically, as an elemental, extract the poison from the creature kinda thing...

As to mechanic/idea, really like it!
It's got me thinking about a general card which could 'suck out'(i.e. copy and put into a vial) the essence of a card, like Jappert already mentioned. Could get a Freeze vial from arctic squid (basically a freeze spell) or heal from guardian angle, plus the poison as you mentioned etc.
I do think it works best as an idea with the poison though, as you have it. And perhaps best leave it at that, just throwing some ideas out there!

One last idea I'll put out there is, as it extracts something from the creature (espec if more magically rather than syringical) it could also give the creature -1HP. Since it would most likely be your creature, this could be an extra price, and also keep cost of spell down (if need be :s). Not sure if that'd be better, just a thought...

First of all, I justified it in the nested reply. OldTrees, we can go even further than that. You see, Ajit, not all syringes are used as IV needles to put harmful chemicals into your bloodstream. Actually, I don't there is a drug that requires you to take something OUT of something. Birds are associated with airplanes, so why do we have a vulture in the game? Obviously, vultures are related to plane crashes and suicide bombings!

About the vial cost, the only Life creature with "poisonous" is forest scorpion, and the only "poisonous" creatures in death are deathstalker and flying arsenic, so you would most likely have to dabble into a trio to be able to use a vial that costs death quanta. I'd rather not.

When did I say illegal drugs?

I couldn't see popping an aspirin on the battlefield either.

...and IV needles... you do realize IV needles aren't supposed to be used for "harmful chemicals" right?  They are a doctor's tool!
_____
Also we're talking level of association.  Sure birds are related to planes.  They both fly.  I mean I suppose you and I are related to terrorists because we're all human.  A pencil is related to school, wood, sharp things, books, paper, writing, and yellow things.

A pencil is also related to a friggin skyscraper because humans made both of them.  There's an insignificant level of association between the two.
_____
Syringes, on the other hand, have a significant association with drugs.  Legal or not.
Now I'm not saying it won't work, we already have adrenaline/epinephrine.  But a magic potion of adrenaline is a bit different from "here hold still, let me prick ya in the arm there froggy"

I say people are getting way to worked up about some so called "drug relation".

I personally really don't see the problem here, I like the effect and as I said earlier I even like to see the effect expanded (extracting more then just poison).
If you wanna avoid the whole "drug-related issue" you could change the name and especially the picture posted by Noobiecakes.

Once again, I like the card, change the name so we can go back to discussing game mechanics instead of doctor's equipment ;)

^_^ uhm the only picture I see is that awesome one done by Thalas.

Listen there's no reason to drop it if I'm the only one that thinks that way and I'm sure patchx will agree.

Interesting and balanced card. I honestly am not going to care about the thematic part, and Thalas's art seems fantasy-like enough for it to fit.

Interesting Life - Death synchro as well as a good stall card.
