how does this work if you have no weapon? and wouldn't steal be better than this?

If you have no weapon, then I'd say this shouldn't work. I'll add that to the notes.

As for steal being better, yes, it probably is. But Entropy can't steal, so this is a different take on it as a substitute, with a bit more entropic twist

Personally, I can't think of a reason you'd want this instead of steal (unless you're not running Dark in your deck), but I'm sure someone can think of one

like swapping your pathetic 0/4 devourer with dive for a dragon?

Could do, but that might be very overpowered. Just have 6 bad cards in your deck, then 6 dragons, 6 Switcheroo and then swap out your crappy cards for anything they play.

Perhaps the upgraded version could swap creatures, while the unupped swaps any permanent that isn't enchanted?

let it switch something random eitehr a permanent of you against a permanent of your opponent or creature or shield/weapon or whatever RANDOMNES if your opponent is unlucky he gets an apillar and you a super awesome card

You think being able to swap any permanent for the same cost would be better? If a weapon/shield is targeted, it swaps with your opponent's weapon/shield, does nothing if they haven't got one.

Hm... pretty good. I like it; simple and it works.

But yeah, it's quite expensive. Upped version should be down-costed to 4 .

Also, the name is really non-Elementsy. I highly suggest you change it, lest "Loop-de-loop", "Zippadeedoodah" and "Yippee-yi-kay" be added to Elements.

Otherwise, great! I like it.
