NOTES:
In many cases vampires are considered to be vulnerable to sunlight. I wanted to import those claims into Elements. Right now this card is very situational but I might start a "vampirism" series.
SERIES:
Vampirism

why does the elite version cost more and do the same thing?
and why would they become ash which could be turned back into phoenixes

and it is kinda situational but its going to be part of a series so I don't know
would it afect imaterial vampires?
what if it was light instead?
Does it activate as soon as the vampires/ this comes into play?

Seems like a good idea possibly, I'm interested in the rest of the series

Wow, very interesting! It certainly makes a lot of sense.

The ATK/HP should be -, not 0/0. Although a 0/0 creature would be interesting...

Anyways. As dragonhuman said, it's quite situational. I think I'd expand it a little to encompass all Undead.

"Every Vampire, Lycanthrope, Mummy, Skeleton, and Bone Dragon in play is turned into Ash."

Might be a bit complicated. Because there's a card to buff Death and Darkness, why not a card to nerf it?

"Every Death and Darkness creature on the field is turned into Ash."

Needs to cost more, though.

That would mean they could be reborn into a bunch of Phoenix cards for 1  :fire

That means you could pay a few  :death to get some Skeletons out, run Burning Towers/Fire Mark, play this card, then rebirth them and have a field of 7/1 Phoenix cards for 3 :fire+ (1 :death and 1 :fire)*# of Skellies/Phoenix.

Pay 6  :death, 3 :fire, 6 :fire and now you have 6 7/1 attackers for minimal cost.

Instead, it should just debuff undead creatures.  Like an anti-eclipse.  You could even make it as huge as -6 to neuter Elite Vampires with Nightfall in play, although even that seems a bit much.

Unupgraded turns into Elite Ash, so minor phoenix are born. Upped turns into Ash, so Phoenix are born. More damage in the latter.

I like it. although situational, it'd be fun to have a set of cards that affect another group of cards.

Yep, very cool idea. Too bad it's highly situational.

maybe it could affect multiple emelents diffrently... ash  :darkness guys, damage  :death, heal  :light for #, +1 life for  :life, +1 attack for  :air, etc... still situational, but now it works in a lot more situations...

Why not just make it a spell that reads, "Turn every creature with the vampire ability into Ash"? That's a simple wording that doesn't require its own wiki article explaining what it does. :)

it seems highly unlikely for it to be used in a real duel just because its so heavily dependant on the other deck

Fixed, It is a permanent so typing 0/0 seemed natural to me.

As for the usefulness of the card. I was thinking about a control deck based on Dark Nymph + the unupped version. And an alternative way to get a lot of phoenixes on board in case of the upped one.

As for reducing every Dark creature into Ash, it would be way overpowered against a mono darkness.
Archangelx 's tweak seems interesting.

*shrugs* since the card was based on a realistic affect, vampires being damaged by the sun, i just carried that over...
:darkness should get own by the sun
:death very similar to darkness and having the sun not affect it seems odd...
:life this made me think plants which leads to photosynthesis which should help  :life in some way right?
:light erm... this should benefit from the sun.. being light and all...
:air sunlight signifies a clear sky for me so i just kinda lumped this in...

I guess you could do other cards like this if balance was an issue... 'Overcast' or sumthin... w/e now my head hurts >.<
