ART: Kuroaitou IDEA: Kuroaitou NOTES: "Ensnare" can only be used on one creature at a time, and cannot be 'canceled' until the final condition is met (i.e. - the Sundew or the creature it target dies). It can be used on itself, which does absolutely nothing (and also causes it to go into a permanent 'lockdown' of ensnaring itself(!)). Multiple Sundews can target the same creature. The stat transfer occurs DURING the Sundew/Drosera's attack; the target creature's ATK can go below 0, and can still attack while being ensnared. Took me a little less time to make the art, although it still sucks. This idea was in the back of my head for a while in the form of a 'Snapdragon' flower-creature that would put enemy creatures to sleep, but after brooding over the idea and looking at this thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,33547.0.html), I decided that perhaps Life needed a more pro-active (although indirect) form of control to keep it ahead of the game. "Stat transferring" is nothing new, so this is my take (although if there's another card mechanic similar to this one that I did not know of, notify me immediately and I will change this to something completely different. Nice way of giving Life some much-needed control. It's patient like mother nature and can speed up the job of Thorn Carapace. It's also not as vulnerable as that shield.
My instinctive reaction is that it could use a cost reduction of 1, especially on the unupped ability cost, but I might be jaded by blindingly fast rush decks and what it takes to stop them. Nonetheless, since it doesn't stop a creature from attacking, I think it'd be fair.

Hm... good question. I guess I should have reworded it to 'either creature is removed', so that Sundew doesn't gain stats from an empty creature slot, but I can't seem to fit the wording. At this point though, I guess it would be best to say that if a creature is rewound, the 'Ensnare' effect is canceled likewise.

I don't know; I'd rather have cards to be somewhat weak than to be OP, especially as Ensnare can be triggered multiple times if the player places Adrenaline on a Sundew after using its ability on a creature - this would be a fun creature to make adrenaline tables for, that's for sure. XD

I've decided to give into temptation and fix the cards so that the costs are reduced (4 | 3 respectively). Text has also been modified slightly to make it seem more clear.
