Trashing their cards, maybe.  Knocking their max hand size to 0... no.

I'd say this is a no-no. Perhpas change it to a silence like effect (the time limit)
but permanent hand reduction, i'm against that.

too situational imo, especially for a drastic effect such as lowering hand size by one. Maybe lowering hand size by one for 2 turns? that would sound better.

what about cant draw for the number of counters, so like the first one is you cant draw for 1 round, the second you cant draw for two, etc, would certainly push the use of purify to clear it.
