I think the purpose is trolling the opponent, so if a buff is needed it has to be an HP one.

Another funny combo I thought is Eternity, can the creatures change to weasels when RT'd? Or would this work only by forcing the opponent to keep playing them?

I don't really understand how Schrödinger's Cats work, if they kill themselves and spawn a new copy, the Weasel would have a chance to appear. If not, then no Weasel. It'll have to depend on how the Cats are coded.

RT and Eternity doesn't spawn new creatures, so no, it wouldn't work with them.

Cats don't die, they just trigger death effects, so Sudden Ferrets shouldn't affect them.

As I see it, summoning and spawning creatures are different things. Creatures played from the hand are "summoned" so the Weasel doesn't affect them. However, anything else is fair game.

I think that player hands should NOT be affected by Sudden Weasel. Cards in the hand of players should be normal, but they would still have their own chance to turn into Weasels when they are being played from hand.

I'm not sure what you mean. If a player either draws a creature or plays it from hand, it doesn't turn into a Weasel. The only ways transformed Weasels appear in your hand in a match is via Nightmare/Fractal.

I'm not sure if that can be coded. But seems a fair nerf to Nightmare/Fractal. My only fear is that cards always appear in hand in their original form without any exceptions so far.

if thats the case then this card really sucks it has 2 niches uses it should activate anytime a creature is summoned not when a card is added to the hand from the aether for want of a better term. That way it acts with yards, fractal, mitosis, nightmare, eggs. malignant and pu (plus potentially counter accidental singus) which is the impression i got from earlier in the thread. If you put it that way then the card is fine compared to abom as this can potentially cripple a deck and would really hurt otks. So concerning cats it would not affect them as the cat effect basically cause death effect hence so cheap.

Your earlier impression was correct, minus the singularity part, since their -5ATK basically renders them impossible to turn into Weasels. I was clarifying on how Weasels would interact with a player's hand, which is just part of what it can do.

Cats themselves aren't affected. Its the cat + boneyard combo that gets good. The new skellies all have a chance to become ferrets instead. As the ferrets multiply, you get a better chance to get new ferrets and also a better chance to convert opponent's creatures to ferrets.
