I imagine if you suggest an element there should probably be a complimenting element as well. I was thinking if there was anything to compliment it nicely, perhaps that could be the element of Spirit.

Spirit perhaps can easily "prolong" its life by increasing its maximum health, however its time is limited as its health slowly leaks away.

Example:

NAME: Spirit Pillar
COST: 0
TYPE: Permanent
TEXT: Increase max HP by 5. Lose 1 HP per turn.

Sure a Blood Pillar and a Spirit Pillar will together heal you 1 HP per turn, but why combine 2 permanents for an effect that 1 Purify can do by itself?

Because these two elements would end up relying on each other, as well as having synenergy with other elements.  Note how Water and Fire have some of the best synenergy in the game with Steam Machine, and Light/Aether for RoL/Hope?


That being said, I think it would be very interesting if we made another Pseudo-element series.  While not true elements, it does give Other a chance to be a competitive element.

I like where your going with this, but all the cards basically have the same mechanics which is a bit..repetetive.

like for example, instead of just absorbing hp
why not make a creature with ability like:

stat: X/5
absorbs 4 hp per turn:
 2: Blood rage: X = total hp absorbed, divided by 3 (rounded down),
one use.

(this creature absorbs your hp)
(the ability costs 2 quanta)

just an example.
what im trying to say is, to stick with the theme of hp absorption but apply different mechanics.
to make it more interesting.
