I kinda think this would be an entropy ability rather than aether. And it's feasible... it'd be like lobotomize+steal basically, because the only reason I think you'd use it on yourself is if you have a low hp mutant with devour and a high hp creature with something weak or nothing.

I picked aether  because it only has small amount of cards atm, while entropy has more than enough, also it can help mono aether's recluses a bit

Even too costly for its effect. Very good idea.

I would definitely abuse the heck out of the card. 6 quanta is easily abusable with my rainbow deck. around turn 5-6 i would have enough to be able to use two of them, and if all went well, have a large arsenal of creatures to have fun with.

Rainbow decks have no problem with high costs mid-late game if they haven't used that element much. And picking an element to assign a card based on the number of cards in that element at this moment is just stupid. By the time something like this were implemented (assuming it's a new idea), there would already be several new cards in each element. It makes much more sense to assign it to an element in which it makes sense. Entropy is change, so it makes the most sense their. You can't randomly start assigning abilities to elements or there will be no theme to an element anymore.

Multi-target spell, that's a bit of a stumbling point. Don't have any of those yet.

The upgrade should be "any two creatures or any two permanents".
That might still not be narrow enough as different types of permanents have different available abilities, and it's not always obvious how an ability would work on another type.
Say you swap diamond shield <-> bond, then play another diamond shield. What happens?
