When you play a card from their hand does it go to their field or your field? Also, I find the art funny since there is an eye above the eye of the picture.

Your field.  I did originally conceive the idea as having to play it on their field, but then realised that there would be little use for it besides getting the odd creature out before your opponent wants it out.  I couldn't think of a good enough reason to play it other than to prevent scorpions getting a boost before you could kill them.  That didn't seem worth the risk of your opponent having no creatures in hand and you having to play a spell or something against yourself.

I did consider playing creatures to your opponent's field and then playing all spells as if they were yours, but that seemed complicated and the whole idea of playing it to your opponent's field doesn't really fit in with the theme of espionage.

It's sort of Precognition crossed with Steal.

Does playing one of their cards 'steal' the card from the player or create a copy?
Great synergy with nightmare.
Edit: What if the card played needs a target?

Then that seems very powerful. You can use 3 :darkness to play down a powerful dragon your opponent has, or a full healing miracle your opponent has in his hand.

Then you choose the target, just like if the card had been yours.

I think you're right.  The notes I put in my phone at work today said 8/7 for upped/unupped, and I'm not sure why I didn't check them before making the post.

It's late now, I'll change it tomorrow.

But then 8|7 would be too expensive most of the time! How about make it so that when you play the stolen card, it costs half as much :darkness. If you pick a dragon costing 10 whatever, you pay 5 additional darkness to play it. If you wan to play that 5 :entropy maxwell, you pay another 3 :darkness to play it.

That's the risk of playing it.

Then that gives you the option of not playing a card if you can't afford it.  I like the idea that you have to play a card, although that's kind of a hangover from when you were playing it as if your opponent had played it.

Hmm, I'll have a think about this tomorrow and see what I think.

This is a very cool card, and one I'd use for style points alone.  4//3 is definitely too cheap, though; 8//7 is probably about right.  If people think it's undercosted even there, it could be changed to be like sky blitz/miracle and drain all dark quanta, but I don't believe that's necessary.  Costing 8//7 will make it cost more than most nondragon cards, with the return being that you 1) deprive the opponent of a valuable card and 2) you get access to something you might not normally have in your deck, mindgate style.

Just as an aside, Sanctuary should protect against this.

@dd this remind me mindslaver :p

I agree the cost should be higher maybe not 8//7 but at least 6//5 or 7//6 because this card can make you win a game you'd ahve normally loose. I like the idea
