New card for artifacts protection. https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=13583.msg171018#msg171018

Hello everyone. First of all I apologize for my english, I'll make mistakes and I'll be glad if you correct me.
This is my first post but I've been playing Elements a lot.
The card I propose is thought for challenge false gods. I can win easyly some of theme, but the others maybe only once. I think that is very difficult to protect permanents because some FG destroy them sistmaticly. Besides, there is only one kind of card for protecting permanets but for creatures you have quintessece and anubis.

The theory of my card is that you summon a Hill/Mountain between bouth players. It has to be destroyed to arrive to the opponent's permanents. Every destruction avility or spell destroy one counter. Weapons or shields are not protected, because they are in the owner hands and can not be hidden behind the hill/mountain.

I've think in other variants, but perhaps they are OP or ilogical:
-Protect only your permanents  (you are over the mountain, then you can destroy permanents but yours can not be, because you take adventage for the high) but when mountain is destroyed you lose 20HP (you felt down). It could be OP if you use protect artifact on it, but can be destroyd or stolen before...
-Skill: X :earth you can recobery a counter but not alawed protect artifact on it.
-Inmaterial. Self destruction in some turns.

I'll wait your opinions.
Thank you for your great job with the game and the forum.

Hmm . . .

I believe you accidentally posted this in the wrong section, as this section is specific for artwork. This section contains directions if you would like to submit a card idea:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5039.0.html

and the idea should be posted here:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,6.0.html

On to my thoughts on the card:
First, it's fairly similar to Bloodshadow's shard of protection (link: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7176.0.html ) so you might want to look at that card.

Second, I'm not sure if :earth really needs another way to protect permanents, since :earth already has the only existing method for permanent protection. I'm a fan of new ways to prevent permanent destruction in general, but :earth doesn't really need it.

Thank you for your indications, I'm not acquainted how forum works.

About your opinion, I agree with your point. May be I should think other element for that, and shard is quite similar (but is a rare).

Any way, as the card is done, I will post it in the correct place and keep working on it to solve that problems.

No need to post it again. I moved it for you. Do note that you will need to format this according to the standards set by the rules in this section if you want it to be accepted into the Crucible.

I think you should check the card "ward", it seems so similar to it.
