How do you think this card should change to make it more balanced?

It is OP.  Increase cost to 12 | 12.

The only problem I have with the upgraded version is that not every element has a well defined "opposite"
some of them are quite clear, light and dark, life and death. The physical elements seem to have canonical "opposites" as well, earth and air, fire and water.
But for entropy, time, aether, and gravity, there really is no well defined "opposite" system.
You will need to define that in your OP.

Hmm... I don't recall that myself, but I've only been active here since about 2011 / 2012... that scheme would make sense though.

In any event, it would be good to put the entire scheme up in the OP for reference... or if you know of a link where Zanzarino talks about elemental opposistes, then the link would suffice.

Actually, if you know of the link, it may be good to get it stickied onto the design theory section so people have it to refer to.

Updated the OP with elemental opposites.

I wanted to make the upped a bit different from the unupped, so I made it a bit more situational.

I don't know of any link, sorry, all I know is from the pairings on the login screen of the trainer.

I think after all of the feedback the best would be to drop the cost to 7 | 7, still consuming all entropy quanta.  Let's see how it turns out after this.
