Small modification cards for PvP ( for a bit more fun)

My idea is the following (only for PvP):
There is a small chance, that both players of a PvP game get a modication card in the beginning of the PvP game.
You can´t win that card.
If both players play that card, a small game modification could follow, like this:

Design Ideas:
1. The old brown playing field from earlier versions
2. The back side of the cards changes.
3. No band behind cards, which are ready to play/ ability is ready.
4. Special designs for April 1st, Easter, Christmas...

This shall inspire you to new ideas, people shall play PvP more.
I think this can be hard to be implemented and cause "disconnect errors".

Nice idea Teffy I am a bit unsure though as to how it would work.

Is this card in your deck (ie do you have to wait til you get it) or do you get it as a permanent change.

One idea to implement this would be to get various cards at numbers of PvP played. ie:

 You play 10 matches you get the first card and so on. These would be visible to people you are combatting so they would know how experienced you are at PvP (be even better if it only counted when you had a PvP win)

ie. You win 25 PvP matches you get c change to the way your cards look etc..

Yep, Scyther's additions sound good. I was going to suggest a system in which the "waiting room" for PvP-ing does not last 10 seconds, but rather, 30 seconds. A simple chat system between the two players is implemented, and they can decide upon design themes and select them. If both players choose the same theme, that theme is used for the match; if the two votes are different, it reverts to the default theme.

But your ideas are good, too, Scyther.

I figured that it would give better indication than just score as most high score are got through AI grinding. Kind of like the medals you an get in forum I suppose.

Just an idea to help people choose who they want to take on in PvP if they get someone that has 600 wins in PvP a new player may decide to face someone else.
