NAME: Mirrored Fortitued ELEMENT: Mirror (matches mark element) COST: 4 TYPE: Spell ATK|HP: TEXT: Set target creature's HPs to match the largest (most HPs) creature matching the mirrored element. ART: See http://elementscommunity.org/forum/card-ideas-and-art/(pseudoquanta)-mirror-quanta-(hyroen)/ for info on card back (used as card art) IDEA: OdinVanguard NOTES: "Take time to reflect on your actions today" "We tend to become that which we pretend to be, so choose those whom you imitate carefully" Should be straight forward, the targets HPs (unupped) or attack (upped) is set to match the HP or attack of the creature in play that has the highest corresponding value and matches the mirrored element. Creatures on both sides of the field are considered when looking for the creature with the highest HP or attack Only the current attack or hp is looked at when choosing the creature with highest stats, however, both current and max hp or attack is copied. If there are no creatures of the mirrored element in play, this spell cannot be cast If the creature in play with the highest HP has 0 HP, then the target creature has its HP set to 0. Like a spark, it will still get to attack before dying Examples: 1) Suppose your mark is and you target a photon while there is an armagio (unharmed) in play. THen the photon's HP is set to 25 2) Suppose you have the mark and have a blessed pegasus with dive activated. You then play sky blitz and cast Mirrored Might upon a photon. The photon's (current) attack is set to 24 and its max attack is set to 6. 3) You have the mark, a spark, and no other creatures. You cast mirrored fortitude on the opponent's flown titan. The titan's HP gets set to 0 and it will die after its next attack. SERIES:

Pretty much a parallel universe which needs a sacrifice...? A bit complicated card for my taste. Didn't have a clue what "mirrored element" could mean till I have read all your notes. In the game, this card would be as difficult to understand...

i actually really like this card, i found it really simple & straightforward.

id make a  mark deck with flying titans and sparks. use this on spark, overdrive it and momentum & repeat process.

Why not simply overdrive the titan? It's not really as good as you might think, I'd rather use PU than this.

Why not simply overdrive the titan? It's not really as good as you might think, I'd rather use PU than this.

There are a few key differences from PU:
1) It can be used in any deck
2) It does not copy statuses or skills
3) If used cleverly, it can cripple or kill enemy creatures

I was hoping this was enough to help it serve a different niche.

Might not be so great with flown titans, but it would be pretty awesome with BB.
For instance. This + armagio + BB... With 2 armagios, you BB one till its big, then pop gp on the other and use this to "Heal" it.
Alternately, throw in voodoo dolls and you have a very sneaky trap that looks like a standard BB armagio. (since both max hp and current hp transfer, this would yield a highly damaged voodoo doll)

It also lets BB-pult get pulled off without needing a trio.

Oh... and there could be fun with Armatyughs

As a twist, it can be used to cripple a strong enemy. I.e. apply it in a sparktal to turn enemy creatures into sparks.

The upped version could be very fun with scorpions... Dune scorps could be pulled off in a mono.

What do you mean by needing a sacrifice? The creature from whom the HP or attack gets copied is unaffected.

I guess the big question I have for everyone is: Does this card's uses set it apart from PU enough to warrant a new card?

i would, im just saying that i would do that as well. the damage outcome would be a lot quicker (because its cheaper to play spark than to constantly animate a titan just to overdrive)

Hmm, I didn't think of this, good catch. I thought mirror quanta is another type of quantum (like a 13th element) , now that I read everything in the description, it sounds really better.

Yes, I was a little confused by "mirror quanta" and the other pseudoquanta ideas myself at first, but the more I work with them, the more I start to like them. Mirror quanta in particular.
Its a much more balanced way of providing a non-element specific effect than because it doesn't run the risk of overempowering rainbow decks.
I've mainly been making this series to try and cut out some thematic identity for its usage (using the concept of mirror like effects), which is why it appears like this card is part of a new element.
