You can instantly kill a creature for quite a low cost. This makes it overpowered.

True.  Better would be to have something like 5/15 creatures that lose HP equal to the HP of the creature they consume. 

Also, I'm pretty sure "Slaad" is a term copyrighted by WotC, like "Illithid". I'm just glad "Otyugh" made it past copyrightability before they got around to copyrighting creature names.

Whoa this is invencible with Basilisk blood and/or Plate Armor, with quintessence of course

the otygh can only kill smaller creatures,
you should give this a similar restriction,
and maybe raise the cost a little
