"Your passion and intensity will propel you to great heights today, but be careful not to get burned."
The final card of this installment of the card mark mechanic series (though I would welcome others to adopt the mechanic, I think it has a lot of potential).
An EtG analogy to the "spell damage bonus" mechanic in Hearthstone. This card affects more than just spells, however, creatures and permanents also benefit from the enhancement. E.g. your weapon and creature attacks will gain a damage boost (as if they had an ability that increased their damage, like bow, or hammer)... this could be quite devastating in conjunction with adrenaline
Note that the mechanic does not distinguish between which player the marked card belongs to. I.e. Your opponent's marked cards will also be buffed.
The upgraded version merely triggers off of your opponent's cards as well as your own.
These cards trigger in a manner similar to the 'salvage' mechanic. Each permanent will trigger off of a separate card and will only trigger once per turn. In the case of the upgraded version, your opponent's turn will count as a separate turn so it can trigger off of one card you play and one card your opponent plays.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
