I'm big on biology and I've always loved the idea of symbiosis. When I thought to make the suggestions for a symbiosis series I did a quick search of the forum first and just found one topic that died a year ago, suggesting new elements. People pointed out that it'd make more sense to just fit a series into the existing elements, but nobody apparently ran with it. Satisfied, I'm happily running with it right now.

This is functionally equivalent to a slower and less flexible version of Bloodsucker or a more expensive version of Virus.

hence balanced cost either

Sure it is also filling the role of cheap infection producer but death does not have a cheap reusable infecter.

Keep in mind it can potentially infect a new host when its host dies, if people like that. Better than virus. in that way. Also, it could be killed, thereby freeing the host of its effects.

i think  you are slightly coming away from the true meaning of parasite, it lives off the harm done, so maybe make some kind of growth to it

Quite true, I just wasn't sure how complicated I wanted to make it and how much text I wanted to squeeze on it. For now it's mostly the base concept I'm presenting.

If my game suggestion (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,18275.0.html) pulls through the card will definitely turn out better than otherwise.

i'd say that since it is deadly, change "creature loses one hp per turn" to "creature gains 1 poison counter per turn"
but for that i say 5|4 cost and maybe  activation cost
