So "shape shifter" would be a passive skill along with the "mutant" skill (it's a mutant, it must have the mutant passive)? (It must be passive or "shape shifter" would become replaced by the mutant skill.) Is the shift ability used on the turn you play it? Anyways, since mutation replaces the original creature's passives, this needs to apply "shape shifter" after it's mutated...does anyone know if there are any problems with this?
Also, a simpler way to code the entropy cost would be to make it only mutate into entropy base creatures so that its abilities always have entropy costs.
In addition, I believe that the upped version should have some kind of perk that the unupped doesn't have. Since its real stats are never used, you probably have to change the cost. So 5 | 4 or 4 | 3 instead of the current 4 | 4.
Or, you could take this on a new spin and make the creature mutate every OTHER turn, making it more vulnerable. (you can also decrease the cost of both upgraded and unupgraded versions because it's so vulnerable) and then give the upped verson some base stat perks (like make the unupped version 1|1 and the upped version 2|2 or unupped, 0|2 and upped, 0|4)
