How come, OT? I would have said it was "discharge when you really need it, because you're gaining a lot every turn..."
Because Excel told me so. (I am double checking the equation now since it is a counter intuitive result)
2(x-1)-3 is the quanta gained when this is discharged x turns after the first discharge.
N is the number of turns in the game
( 2(x-1)-3 ) x (N/x) is the total quanta produced
Nvm. I had an extra 1/x in the equation. The Mormegil is right. Discharging it at the last moment, despite being less funny, is more optimal by far.
Heh. Derivation skillz FTW!

Unless you're concerned about PC.  I could see players cussing because they didn't want to discharge until they drew the card they wanted...and having the opponent Deflag the turn before they needed it.

And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou cast the Wind Pool. Then, shalt thou count to four. No more. No less. Four shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be four. Five shalt thou not count, nor either count thou three, excepting that thou then proceed to four. Six is right out. Once the number four, being the fourth number, be reached, then, discharge thou thy Wind Pool towards thy quanta pool, which, being small in My sight, shall grow.'

Long story short, except in rare circumstances discharging every 4 charges (5 turns) is optimal.
4*2-3=5, why not use a pillar instead?
But I like the story, you would make a good messiah.

CURATOR COMMENT
-Fix the COST in both of the tables so that it reads '0' instead of '-' (it costs 0 quanta to cast it, not a '-')
-Fix the TEXT in the table so that it matches the card description image exactly.
-Fix the spelling/add a link in the SERIES section of the table

A pretty nifty idea, but as others have stated, the quanta generation gained from these pools/fonts can overcome some potential exploits with certain quanta-reliant cards like Fractal (not too bad of a concern) or the bolts (deadly if timed properly). That said, do you have a list of names for the other elemental pools/fonts? ^^;

Well, I suppose names should be the normal names for the Elements... I'm fixing mistakes now.
