Synergy with nymphs is a great and thematic idea!

Going along the idea of thematic buffs, perhaps the satyr could give a little extra attention to one nymph and make her ability free, e.g.

: Target nymph's ability now costs 0 quanta

I'm afraid it could be too situational with an ability linked only to nymphs.^^

An ability linked only to nymphs would certainly not see all that much play; nonetheless, it could be a nice thematic twist for a satyr|pan card whose stats were otherwise differentiated among life creatures (maybe a robust creature with 3 or 6 attack for adrenaline synergy?)

there is simply no reason to not explore your own interpretation of this concept.

Since this has been necro'd, and also since nothing except a name and element have been chosen, would this not be better placed in the Pre-Smithy Ideas?

pre-smithy probably wasnt around at the time of thread creation, me thinks.  but yeah, i think et would have posted it there today had he started the thread now rather than before.
