As an unupgraded, it could serve as a decent offense. Altogether, it's ability means that it has a chance to become another ant. The idea of the ants is to build them up into a colony of similar ants. the more of one element you have, the stronger they are altogether.
As it stands, Reversal Ant does not reduce the diversity of ants created. Rather it wastes 2 turns resetting the bad luck that turned it into a reversal ant.
If you make the ability of the Reversal Ant be "De-evolve target ant back into a Larva" then you would give Reversal Ant the ability to promote collections of similar ants by de-evolving Ants that were less desirous.
