Why not have the ability be "Devolve target ant"? This gives time the ability to rewind and replay poor evolutions but still makes it worthwhile to keep a Reversal Ant around.

I see no reason to use this card at all. It requires a duo, compared to just using the empress to lay the lar/pup, and you might just get the same ant back again. Why use this card at all?

As an unupgraded, it could serve as a decent offense. Altogether, it's ability means that it has a chance to become another ant. The idea of the ants is to build them up into a colony of similar ants. the more of one element you have, the stronger they are altogether.

If you got 6 time, you shouldn't be spending it on a 4l4 card. And 3 time for a card that's useless, turns into another useless card which then MIGHT turn into a useful one... I get your concept, but the numbers are just not very favorable.
