One of the best uses of PA is to protect a shield / weapon until it can be used to activate its special ability, or thwart a particular threat...
Unfortunately, PA tends to be relatively inefficient since it takes up 1 extra card in a deck for each shield / weapon you want to protect.

This card attempts to get around that by giving any shield or weapon you play 1 turn of immaterial status. This ensures that it will stick around long enough to get at least 1 usage, which can be critical against decks that are heavy on PC effects, while at the same time providing enough uses to offset having to add extra cards to the deck.

Moreover, using a PC effect on this permanent will only remove 1 seal from the stack (like bonewall or pillar / pendulum stacks).

I tend to err on the side of UPness and work my way up so if the cost is too high I can lower it.

I'm also torn between making this an :earth card with :light activation cost or a :light card with :earth activation cost.

:light for 1 turn weapon invulnerability?  ?_?
That seems not overpowered when dealing with invulnerability, but seems overcostly as a player point of view.

How would this work with shields that last a given number of turns?

Where do you get 8 :light ?
it costs 3 :earth for 1 turn invulnerability for up to 4 weapons or shields
you only spend :light if you want to protect more after that.

The upped version is more efficient at 2 :earth for 3 weapons / shields and only 1 :light for each one thereafter.

I admit this could be a little on the costly side still, I'm just wondering where you came up with 8 :light from...

How would this work with shields that last a given number of turns?
The classic example would be phase shields here...
the phase shield would be protected for its first turn. So essentially you would be guaranteed 1 turn of protection.

You could then choose to cast another phase shield the following turn and it would consume another seal for another guaranteed turn, or you could simply let it stand till its duration ends.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?

I misunderstood the english,
"Creates 4 reliquary seals which make a shield / weapon immaterial for 1 turn"

I thought you need 4 seals to make 1 turn invulnerability.
 :light :light: increase 1 seal,
4 seals = 1 more turn invulnerability.
