Neat.
This looks like a great semi vanilla creature.
This is an example of another type of semi-vanilla creature that I forgot to mention in the competition definition: Short term effects especially come into play effects or first turn effects.

Great work on the art!

as for the card it seems alittle expensive for its stats. But the fractal combo is pretty cool. have you done the math for how many you need for lethal in one turn?

un-upped: 7 of them kill in one turn. 112 damage 35 quanta.
Upped: 5 of them for 90 damage 6 for 126. 30 or 36 quanta.

Interesting

You play an owl and a dimensional shield fractal it and then a few turns later boom! :D

There are 3 kinds of stats: Original (on card), Current (On field) and Full (what can it be healed to?)
The Owls use the base stats also know as original stats. These are the stats as shown on the card in the hand.
Base Stats Owl + Base Stats Previous creature --> Current stats Owl
A full hand of Owls would cost 40 :aether|48 :aether and deal 64|96 damage +32|48 per turn thereafter.

I think the way it reads first owl is 4 atk. next comes it at 8 (4+4) next 12 (8+4) so itd look like this
4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32 for playing eight owls in one turn.

Thanks ^^ though, finding good stock was harder than the editing ._."

OT's calculations how I intended the owl works, that's why it "enters" with a buff, the base isn't changed. That said, it's exactly why I put it into aether: fractal won't be touching this too easily D:<

This is incorrect.
The current wording means by ETG terminology:
8 (4+4) next 8 (4+4)
There are 3 kinds of stats: Original (on card), Current (On field) and Full (what can it be healed to?)
