Maybe rather than the skill dive, change it to "lash" :fire cost.  That way it doesn't need to fly for more damage. Also dive is usually associated with air creatures.
there is one air creature with dive and one light creature with dive.  I don't see the association between dive and Air.
Also, a creature does not need to fly in order to use dive, you can see that if you web a creature with dive, and on mutants with dive but no airborne.

Fair enough, but even changing the cost type of dive seems a little strange. No creature has a skill dive that cost isn't associated with  :air.

well yeah but there are only two examples.. there are different costs for growth so we know its possible to have the same skill with different costs, and the flavor of it being gravity instead of air is explained by it not actually using flight and instead using :gravity magic.

This would make more sense if the cat didn't float. Dealing more damage out of anger :fire seems more fitting then a floating cat.

That being said I enjoy the idea of this card.
I agree with hazardus on that one... :gravity is a rather odd element for dive, at least given you are making a connection to the :air ability.
Although it does make a little sense that the creature is "diving" into the water... but that wouldn't give it the build up of speed like it does a creature diving through the air.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`
You might be a unix junky

not diving into the water. using :gravity to jump up out of the water super high and then crash down.

Well now that's not diving. That sounds more like ejecting. xD

i suppose, but theres no reason to give a new name to what is mechanically the exact same effect.

I guess.   : :air may still suit it better than  :gravity because technically the cat catch air while coming out of the water.  Anti-gravity would imply it floats way up, presumable never to come down.   Which may be a cool mechanic, having it be a two turn attack. One turn charge up where it goes way up and the other for when it comes crashing back down on its opponent.
