i like this idea but the only problem is from what i understand if they have 1 monster and it attacks u and u would lose it saves you.. what if it saves u with one monster than they have 12 more to attack with? does it just stop all of them?

IMO, It should. One whole turn effect; destroyed at the end of the turn when it gives you 1 HP.

then i guess it works as a good sheild although useless until u know your about to die.. i have had many times where it was 1 turn from winning so this would help... does it stop the weapon too then?  also what if there is some other effect in future say if a creature dies someone takes damage.. *ball lightning for example* would it stop that too?

Yeah the idea was it would wait till all enemy battle damage is calculated before the effect starts.

Also to the person who said it should be Aether or time the actual idea was a series and first started as the idea for a death card called necromancy. I decided to go up with the entropy version first because entropy is the element I use so why not use it as my example.

Aether: Dimensional reboot|Dimensional Reformat

Time: Rewind|Time travel

Death: Necromancy|Beyond Death

Life: Life Bond|Eternal Life Bond

Air: Second wind|Breath of life

There is already a Time card called Rewind.  ;)  You're welcome to use the name "Contingency" I mentioned earlier, if you like it.

Also, I notice a lot of people seem to have an obsession with using slightly different names for regular/upped cards, but that isn't really necessary.  If there's a good one, like Lycanthrope | Werewolf, or Catapult | Trebuchet, then sure, use it, but don't try to contrive something just so they can be different.  For example, "Second Wind" is a much better card name than "Breath of Life," especially since the latter has the word ":life" in it.  Just make them both "Second Wind," that fits the theme just fine.

I have created a number of card ideas in both camps.  On the one hand, I was lucky to run across cool combos like Enchantress | Siren, Commission | Crusade, Frailty | Enervation... but I've also created Sandstorm | Sandstorm, Winter | Winter, and Bounty | Bounty.  Go with your gut!

This could be a nice compliment to the Sundial / Silence type of utility card. It fits the theme of entropy as disorder well... what is more chaotic than a failed coupe de grace? That being said, i have a couple of thoughts regarding this card as a shield vs. being a general permanent:

 Seeing as how this is a one shot card, that takes up valuable deck space, it should not be a shield.  Ideally, you would not need to ‘keep from being killed’ in the first place. I think that as a utility card, people could find some creative uses for it. Some symbiosis with dissipation shield (or ?) would make it more exciting, not to mention that as an effect card, it would be a counter to momentum and poison.

I think that the original cost is a bit high, considering that  6/7 ttw rush decks are not uncommon , and if your spending all you’ve got maintaining staying alive, what’s the point?  Finally, can it be destroyed? That might be necessary for balance sake,  if it isn’t a shield… but it would  be interesting if your opponent could not even see that it is play at all... until he realizes that you are not dead like you should be!

There is a rewind? Hmm yeah guess I could use contingency then. and yeah just keep second wind as both but I like the rest. specifically entropy and death I quite like the names I chose for those two.

Also yeah lowered cost has been mentioned before and it seems like a good idea.

The idea of having it as a basic permanent is an idea I never even thought of...Same with most of the ideas Loki mentioned. I actually really like the card not even seen till activated thing too but they would see you play it anyways if they watch your hand so... The rest fo the ideas are great though.

Well, the opponent will be able to see the card being played even if it's "cloaked" when on the table - just like how cards being played are visible coming out of the opponent's hand when Cloak is in play.

The effect is similar to Sundial but doesn't require any planning to execute.  Sundials are vulnerable to PC, I don't see why this card should be protected.  It's actually better than Sundial, since your creatures aren't stopped.

Yeah It shouldn't be an auto save the opponent should have a chance to steal or deflag it and kill you anyways if they're lucky and of course you can enchant it if you want.
