NOTES:
Charge is a new mechanic that this serie introduces. While charging, the card is delayed and a counter appears in the upper right corner - just as in Phase Shield. The number is, however, increasing at the end of each turn, and it starts at 0.
A card with the active ability "Charge" starts not charging and, starting from its second turn in play, can start to charge. When it does, the ability becomes "Uncharge", and has the same cost.
If a card has the active ability "Uncharge", it means it enters play as charging, and can be uncharged from its second turn.
SERIES:
Charge Serie
Basically, survive the first round of CC, then make it untargetable and delayed (essentially not there) until you are satisfied with its growth. It comes back evil and powerful, and you opponent has no chance to avoid this. Unless he uses a dimensional shield, a sundial, a bonewall... or kills you first.

It may be a bit underpriced, but it's rather slow as it is. It has a lot of potential in Aether/Light stalls: pump it up and then release and TU it to hell. I don't see it as very overpowered, as bolt stalls are similar in concept and will have about the same speed.
So, feedback?

Not quite. Google is also forbidden as a source. However considering the image is wallpaper you can just credit the author in the image and also link to the terms of use for the site in addition to the current link.

You need to get rid of that snake asap. Their ToS says you cannot use it.

Which means I'll have to change the image (again). Well, I'm gonna do that tomorrow: I'm sleepy already, and I will probably have more time to look for a proper unlicensed website.

EDIT: I don't think having it in the Smithy is gonna be a problem, and I'm not going to submit it to the Crucible before having proper feedback.

EDIT II: Actually, forget it, I already found the art I needed.

Gratz for finding the #1 royalty-free images site on the web. I recommend the same site for others as well.

Since we are talking about art.. I think that when you choose images, it's generally a good idea to choose and image that fits the colors of the element, or change those colors yourself. This card for example, uses a green snake that is very :life to me.

And if we talk about the theme, I don't think that a snake fits to :light at all. I mean it has things like Angels and Blessings and.. a snake?

Also Why does a snake charge? It's very difficult for me to picture a battlefield full of charging snakes carrying :light war banners.

Why does "charge" cost :aether?

Why does charging make you immaterial? Charge usually means you become faster, and possibly take more damage because you have less defense. You are basically doing the opposite.

While some people think theme is less important, I think it plays a big part in making a card cool. This idea has some major theme problems imo.

Theme is very important. I agree that this does have serious theme issues.

[Good point about color SG. I will remember that lesson.]

Lets start at the main idea: Charge
Charge in this case refers to storing energy like a battery not like the tactical move.

Charge delays the card for N turns in exchange for Nx the rider mechanic. This means that the only things that can have Charge are things that can initiate a delayed state that gathers energy.
In this case the energy is used to grow the creature and power a shield as it does so. No the card is further restricted to something that can gather energy and simultaneously use that energy to shield itself.
Next we have the  :aether :aether activation cost. This fits with the gathering energy and untargetability the creature can do. However it limits the kinds of energy that would be appropriate. Most likely power source is electricity from the data so far.
This brings us to the Snake image and the name Ravid. Neither can make themselves untargetable not can either of them gather Aetheric types of energy. (Although a Ravid could gather Light types of energy)

Suggestion: Change it to a Gravity robot and copy paste the effect :aether :aether cost and all.

Some things:

1) The color problem. The initial image was white-y and I was aware that color tones are important. However, I'm living on a Live Boot since my hard disk collopsed on me, so GIMP is out of the equation, as is saving images in a permanent way. Basically, I'm doing what I can here. Also, the snake doesn't really fit, but oh well. Its true art is copyrighted.

2) The theme. The basic idea started as the mechanic, and I searched for something to be thematically appropriate to the idea. Hence, the Ravid. It is, as some of you might know, a creature that inhabits the Elemental Plane of Positive Energy in D&D cosmology. That's a place so full of life energy that normal beings explode upon entering it, unless they severly harm themselves to focus the energies of the plane on healing their injuries. The concept was indeed similar to what OldTrees suggested, but I figured the Ravid as a pretty harmless creature that planeshifts on its native homeland (hence the aether cost), charges with the energy of the plane and comes back seeking a way to unleash said energy. To me, it's pretty thematic, but I will accept suggestions. :)
I know, I should have probably said this in the OP, and I'm going to copy-paste it there anyway, but I was in a hurry to get the ideas out yesterday before going to bed, so that I might have a round of criticism to read today.
